This website consists of quite detailed lesson plans for instructors on lighting. A 13 week course (one lesson each week) can be obtained, moving from the very basics on lighting and how to up a rig, to understanding how the lights work and the basics of colour. Primarily refers to theatre lighting, and also addresses lighting 'in practise (eg. run-throughs, working with a director, etc.).

This site has a number of detailed tutorials. This particular tutorial addresses a variety of lighting uses, such as film, architecture, television, and display. Its topics include lighting design, use of lighting, objectives in stage lighting, as well as lighting 'in practise' (eg. creating lighting plots, cue sheets, working with a director).
